History
Opera Experience Southeast was brought to life in 2012, a vision of John Fowler and Marie-Claire O'Reirdan. Between them, the two spent many years as international performers and along the way were lucky enough to share stages with some of the operatic world's greatest artists. Most importantly John and Marie-Claire were fortunate as young singers to learn the ropes with regular paid jobs that included coaching, mentoring, and fully staged performances of leading roles. All too often our own young American trained professionals struggle to access those same career-building opportunities here in the US. Opera Experience Southeast was created to help address that need.
