Danville, VA- Danville held what some say is their first Opera on Sunday at the G.W. High School's auditorium.
A group called Opera Experience Southeast presented "La Boheme," meaning "the Bohemians."
This is a classic tale about a group of guys living in Paris, and trying to get by with the skin of their teeth.
The opera is French but sung in Italian, and has a wide appeal.
"Opera is about normal people doing normal things, it's about love it's about jealousy, it's about breaking up, it's about making up it's about four guys having a wonderful time being best of friends," said John Fowler, the director and conductor.
The talented group is out of rock Hill, SC and gave Danville folks quite a show.
