Julie-Anne Hamula, soprano, sang the role of Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi with Opera Experience Southeast in June 2013. She graduated from Westminster Choir College with a BM in Voice Performance and from the University of Texas Butler Opera Center with a Master of Music. Julies other operatic roles have included Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) with Cape Cod Opera, Fiordiligi (Cosí fan tutte), Antonia (Les Contes d'Hoffmann), Adina (L'elisir d'amore), and Gilda (Rigoletto) with Tri-Cities Opera in Binghamton, NY. Julie-Anne is the Winner of the Jenny Lind Competition, a Winner of the Kosciuszko Foundation's Marcella Sembrich Vocal Competition and of Connecticut Concert Opera's Competition. In October 2013 she sings her first Violetta in La Traviata with Delaware Valley Opera.
