Jacob Cook hails from Yadkin County, North Carolina, and is currently in his first year of graduate school at the Hayes School of Music, studying Voice Performance with Dr. Joseph Amaya. He has performed several operatic roles at Appalachian State University including Balthazar in Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors, Simone in Pucinni's Gianni Schicchi, Der Vater in Humperdink's Hänsel und Gretel, and Dr. Falke in Johann Strauss II's Die Fledermaus. He recently traveled to Astoria Oregon where he played the role of Sarastro in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and to Vancouver, British Columbia where he performed the roles of Don Alfonso in Mozart's Cosí fan tutte and performed both Fasolt and Fafner in Wagner's Das Rheingold.
